High School Graduation 2013!!

Well it may be a few months since the actual graduation day,
But such a momentous occasion
needs to be commemorated right now
and I've got just the photos to do it!!

Cap and Gown and Honor Cords,
each cord represents an achievement in National Honor Society,
National Forensic League, Science National Honor Society
and Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society)
Plus graduating With Honors by taking the Honors curriculum!!

 With mamaw.

 With grandpa.

 With mom and dad...
can you feel the pride and happiness!!

With dad and Aunt Roni, visiting from
Tucson to enjoy this special occasion.

 The Three Amigos!!

And now onto the event!!!
 Cue the music...
Pomp and Circumstance...
and bring out the kleenex
as we watch our little girl
march out of High School!!

The seniors march down the walkway...

As we watch from the stands...she looks up...

 And she sees us!!
"I'm almost there guys!"

Ready to be called by rows up to the podium.
See her long blonde hair, third row back?

Now her row has been called and they begin the walk...

 She's getting closer!

Walking past the ROTC honor guard...

Past the Principal (no longer her boss!)

And she receives The Diploma and plaque...
GRADUATION WITH HONORS!!

Take a look at that grin!!

High steppin' and contemplating this moment.

Waiting to sit down...and move the tassels to the other side and then....

Whip those caps up into the air!!!

And then madly search for one to return with the gown!!
The tassel is yours...the rest is rented!

Hugs and hugs and pure emotional excitement for the
New Albany Graduating Class of 2013!!

 Proud, Proud Papa!

 That's my girl!!

Could the grins get any wider!!

And there is the one bright, shining star
that appeared at the beginning of the ceremony...

And proudly, happily watched over the stadium,
(see the star to the left above the trees)
until Amanda had her diploma,
and then quietly moved out of the sky.

Grandma Carol was there and part of it all.

Congratulations Graduate!!
